C.S. Lewis' Mere Christianity

Our NCC Men's Group has chosen a wonderful book for their reading and reflection during the next several weeks. C.S. Lewis was a brilliant British professor. He himself was converted to Christianity later in life, and then offered these reflections on the "pearl of great price", which is at the heart of all Christians' basic belief. Lewis is widely acknowledged as one of the best Christian apologists of the twentieth century. Since Lent is the season for spiritual renewal and for our returning to the foundations of our faith in the Lord, we invite you to consider exploring this insightful book. Its creative presentation will very likely confirm for us why we believe so firmly in the Holy Trinity and in the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And its compelling wisdom may even help us in sharing our own Catholic Christian faith with others this Lent.
