Matrimony, or Marriage, like Holy Orders, is a sacrament that consecrates for a particular mission in building up the Church. It is seen as a sign of the love between Christ and the Church, which is established between spouses in a permanent and exclusive bond, sealed by God. The Sacrament gives couples the grace they need to attain holiness in their married life and for responsible acceptance and upbringing of their children.
Engagement and planning your wedding is a very exciting time for engaged couples. Should you decide to have your wedding ceremony or service at either St. Linus or St. Patrick we ask that you call the Rectory at least 9-12 months before your planned date. It is important that you set your date at the Parish before making any other arrangements as the date you would like might not be available due to other weddings or activities going on.
You can reach the Rectory at 508-653-1093.
