Fr. Chip Hines grew up in Reading, just north of Boston graduated from RMHS and Ithaca College in upstate New York. Fr. Chip worked in Commercial real estate doing property accounting from 1990 till 1998 when he entered Saint John’s Seminary in Brighton, MA. He was ordained by Cardinal Sean O’Malley in 2004. His first assignment was Immaculate Conception in Malden, from there he was named pastor of Saint Mary’s in Wrentham, then pastor of Saint Joseph in Medford and then his last assignment, before Natick, as pastor of the Walpole collaborative. After a lengthy illness he came to the Natick Catholic Community first to recover from surgery and then he was assigned as parochial vicar until being named the administrator of the collaborative to assist our pastor, Fr. Mike, as he battles health issues. Fr. Chip enjoys new technology and trying to use social media for evangelization. He also enjoys spending time with his parents, his two brothers, one sister in law and five nephews.
