If you are able to help us meet our goal please donate below. Thank you!
Friends,
I hope you are enjoying these summer days as, dare I say it, we begin to see the season wane to its end. The familiar phrase “Where has the summer gone?” seems to ring true at this time every year! Thankfully, I was able to get away for a bit and stay with good friends in Saint Louis, MO; it is a wonderful city to visit with a deep Catholic history. However, along with vacations and the many joys of summer comes the reality of very hot, humid and uncomfortable weather. And that, Friends, is why I am writing to you today – namely, it is time to make air conditioning in St. Patrick Church a reality.
This is a BIG project! I am working with the Archdiocese to coordinate this effort and will be very hands-on as it goes forward. I am writing today to ask for your support. This project will, in total, be around $400,000.00. This includes about $57,000 dollars for electrical work just so we can have Air Conditioning at all.
What can you do for this project? First, please pray for its success as we need prayers to make sure things go smoothly and will finish on time. Second, we’ll need donations to help defray the cost of this project, PLUS we will need help with weekly donations to defray the monthly cost of running it. I would ask you prayerfully to consider making a donation to assist us.
I’d also like to take a moment to thank you for all for your help and your generosity over these last five years that I have been here. I must say, Natick is a wonderful place to live, minister to, and worship with the people of God. I consider it a special place.
This Air Conditioning project was the brainchild of our dearly departed pastor Father MacEwen. I am merely trying to complete his dream. I will not tell a lie, though, I will enjoy the AC very much myself as I know you also will enjoy it!
Thank you for anything you are able to do to help make our Air Conditioning project a success!
Yours in Christ,
Rev. George C Hines “Fr. Chip”
